Our Blu Jean Alpaca throw blanket is a visual delight in its rich, saturated hue that will surely liven up any space. Just as appealing as its color is its incredible texture. Made from 100% baby alpaca, the wool gathered from the first shearing; baby alpaca is the finest, softest, and most coveted grade of alpaca fiber. Lightweight yet incredibly strong, it is gentle to the touch, giving warmth and luxury that is pure, practical indulgence.

Alpaca is stronger than silk and cashmere, is completely hypo-allergenic, and has a natural insulation core that warms the body without weighing it down. Entirely handmade by artisans on wooden looms in Ecuador, using the same methods that have been practiced for hundreds of years with no mechanical or chemical processing involved.
