Our Kalamkari Scarves are made with 100% soft cotton and natural plant based dyes. Artisans in Southern India print the fabric for these fair trade scarves using the block-printing technique known as “kalamkari”, which involves printing the fabric with natural dyes using wooden blocks and then filling in the details with hand painting. These stunning floral print scarves showcase this rich craft tradition in a range of rich colors, and while the colors may vary slightly with climate and season for natural dye block prints, each batch is uniquely beautiful.
